Thinking of buying a home? Your first call should be to Susan Chell, Broker.
She’ll meet with you at her state-of-the art office to discuss factors to take into
consideration during your house-hunting, including your price range, desired area, and
the current market conditions. Together, you’ll complete a Personal Property Guide,
assisting both you and Susan in narrowing focus onto the homes that really suit you.
From there, Susan will begin updating you with properties on the Multiple Listing Service
which may suit your tastes and needs. Through her subscription to this service, Susan is
able to access 99.9% of listings currently for sale with agents in Ottawa and surrounding
areas. As soon as a potential match appears, Susan will be in touch by your desired method,
whether it be email, fax or telephone. If anything captures your attention, Susan will set
up appointments for you to view the property as soon as possible.
When you’re ready to make an offer on a property, Susan will put her strong negotiation skills
to work, helping you to secure your home, while making sure you’re comfortable every step of the
way. She’ll handle all of the paperwork for you, and communicate with the listing agent.
Once your offer has been accepted, Susan will help you to fulfill any conditions of your offer.
If it’s available, she’ll obtain a copy of the survey on your behalf, as well as a Seller Property
Information Statement. She will help you set up a building inspection of the property, and deliver
copies of the agreement to your selected lawyer and your mortgage broker or bank. Her network of
contacts will be at your disposal, including numerous lawyers, building inspectors, mortgage specialists,
and so forth. Susan is there to take care of all the details so that you don’t have to. She wants to help
